Splinternet's Rad Detection Sensors,
Alert Network Sold to Hospital Alliance

May 28, 2008

Splinternet Holdings [SLNH] radiation detection sensor technology and early warning alert network are being integrated into a group of mid-western hospitals to monitor perimeters and portals where medical radiological treatment material is stored.

Splinternet is providing its GammaTect and GammaTect Plus sensors and DefenTect detection network to Argus Technologies, LLC, the system integrator, under a $1.4 million subcontract. Work will begin in June.

The sale marks the first for Splinternet. The group of hospitals was not disclosed.

Argus provides information technology services to hospitals and healthcare communities.

The GammaTect and GammaTect Plus provide real time detection and can be positioned adjacent to security cameras to provide visual identification of a threat. GammaTect Plus provides gamma ray isotope identification. DefenTect is the gamma radiation detection network that integrates data from a wide area grid of sensors to a command center.

Separately, Splinternet has entered into an alliance with video technology integrator *RMS Technology Solutions, Inc.*, for potential new installations of gamma radiation detection systems for the private and public sectors.

"There is a need for integrated, ubiquitous sensor systems in the marketplace, which Splinternet delivers", says Rick Rubenstein, president of RMS. "We look forward to customizing these protective radiological solutions for customers."

The partnership is part of Splinternet's strategy of working with various types of integrators to provide their solutions with a radiation detection component.
